CloudMe

All the functionality you would expect to get from a cloud service is offered by CloudMe: upload files to the cloud, sync files across devices, access your account from the web browser, share files with others. Please note that CloudMe is a European cloud service; the CloudMe privately held and independent company is located in Sweden, Europe. All the files you upload to the cloud via CloudMe are protected by EU laws and are safely stored within the EU.

CloudMe is available as a client for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. CloudMe is also available as a mobile app for iOS and Android. To enjoy CloudMe on all your devices, you must go through these three steps:
Step 1 – install CloudMe Sync on your desktop machine or machines (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
Step 2 – install CloudMe on your iPhone or Android smartphone or smartphones.
Step 3 – create an account and log into said account.

To create a free account you must provide the following details: first and last name, username and password, email address. You must also pick a country (Sweden is selected by default) and you must accept the user agreement. A free account gets you 3GB of cloud storage space. You can earn more space for free (refer friends, earn 500MB per friend, earn up to 16GB) or you can purchase more space (25, 100, 200 or 500 GB plans are available for purchase).

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from CloudMe: special CloudMe Blue folder (place files in it and they will be uploaded to the cloud); sync files across all your devices (bidirectional, upload only, or download only sync mode; automatic or scheduled syncing); share files with others; share folders with others (create webshares, follow webshares); access your account and the files you uploaded to the web from the CloudMe website.

CloudMe gets you started with 3GB of free cloud storage space. You can earn up to 16GB of free storage space by recommending CloudMe to friends. You will get 500MB for each friend that joins the CloudMe family. Alternatively, you could purchase some storage space. 25, 100, 200 or 500 GB plans are available for purchase.
